Aberdeen Township police stopped a teenage girl riding a horse along Route 34 on Sunday night. Officers warned the teen about the dangers of the highway, and family members eventually arrived to safely trailer the animal back to Marlboro.

A driver was hospitalized with minor injuries after two sport utility vehicles crashed on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls Sunday morning. New Jersey State Police reported that a Land Rover hit a Mercedes-Benz, causing it to overturn against a guardrail.
