š„ Heavy Fire Damages Belleville Home, Multiple Crews Respond
Firefighters from several departments battled a heavy house fire on Brighton Avenue in Belleville late Wednesday night. No injuries have been reported, and officials are still investigating what caused the blaze.
BELLEVILLE, NJ ā Firefighters battled a heavy late-night house fire Wednesday after flames broke out at a two-and-a-half-story home on Brighton Avenue.
Large flames were visible from the residence as crews arrived and quickly began working to contain the blaze. Multiple fire departments responded to assist Belleville firefighters as mutual aid was requested.
š Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control, but crews remained at the scene afterward to conduct searches, overhaul the structure and extinguish remaining hot spots.
Utilities were also secured as firefighters worked to make the property safe.
Officials have not yet released information regarding any injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
