🚨 Woman Dies Following Head-On Crash On Route 70 In Manchester Township 🚨

A 53-year-old Toms River woman was killed Thursday afternoon following a head-on crash on Route 70 in Manchester Township.

According to Manchester Township Police, the crash occurred around 5:15 PM near mile marker 43. Police say the woman was driving a 2019 Honda Civic eastbound on Route 70 when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2022 Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the Silverado, a 32-year-old Lindenwold man, suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and airbags deployed in both vehicles.

The Toms River woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Route 70 was closed while authorities investigated the crash and cleared the roadway.

The investigation remains ongoing by Manchester Township Police.
