šØ WESTFIELD WOMAN CHARGED WITH DWI AFTER 3-CAR CRASH WITH TODDLER IN VEHICLE
A Westfield woman faces driving while intoxicated charges after allegedly rear-ending a vehicle on Route 202 in Raritan Borough on Monday night. Police say the three-car crash resulted in injuries and occurred while a two-year-old child was in the woman's car.
RARITAN BOROUGH, NJ ā A 36-year-old Westfield woman was arrested on a DWI charge after a three-vehicle crash involving injuries Monday night on Route 202, according to Raritan Borough Police.
š Officers were called to the intersection of Route 202 and First Avenue at approximately 9:15 p.m. for a reported crash.
According to police, a preliminary investigation determined that a 2026 Kia driven by Yekaterina Dyukova, 36, of Westfield, rear-ended a 2026 Toyota Corolla.
š¶ Police said a 2-year-old child was inside Dyukova's vehicle at the time of the crash.
The collision involved three vehicles and resulted in injuries. Dyukova was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
