šØ WARRANT ISSUED FOR NEW YORK MAN ACCUSED OF EXPOSING HIMSELF TO MULTIPLE SOUTH RIVER RESIDENTS šØ

South River police issued a warrant for 21-year-old Anthony Lopez of New York following several public exposure incidents in July. Authorities used surveillance footage to identify the suspect and are asking any additional victims to contact the police department.
Police have charged a 21-year-old New York man with multiple counts of lewdness following an investigation into a series of alleged public exposure incidents reported in South River during July.
According to South River Police Chief Mark Tinitigan, officers received multiple reports between July 2 and July 7 involving a man allegedly exposing himself to members of the community.
š Most of the reported incidents occurred in the area just off Whitehead Avenue, including near Magiera Street, Spring Street and Jeffrie Avenue.
Detectives reviewed surveillance footage provided by local residents and developed a suspect. Working with the South River Patrol Division and the New York Police Department, investigators identified the suspect as Anthony Lopez, 21, of New York.
A warrant has been issued for Lopez on multiple counts of lewdness.
š®āāļø POLICE SEEK ADDITIONAL VICTIMS
Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward and are asking anyone who may have experienced a similar incident to contact the South River Police Department.
ā ļø Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police. Residents are reminded to report suspicious or concerning activity to law enforcement and avoid confronting a suspect themselves.
Lopez is accused of the offenses and is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
