🚨🔥 TWO INJURED AFTER ROUTE 202 CRASH IN READINGTON INVOLVING VEHICLE FIRE

Emergency crews responded Tuesday evening to a crash on Route 202 in Readington Township that left two drivers injured and a vehicle fully involved in fire. The crash happened around 6:15 PM near Summer Road and involved a Volvo XC90 and a Mercedes-Benz C240. According to police, the Mercedes caught fire following the collision. Officers arrived and began extinguishing the flames before firefighters from the Three Bridges Fire Department arrived and took over operations. All occupants had already exited the vehicles before first responders arrived. Both drivers suffered minor injuries, with one transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Route 202 was temporarily closed while crews worked at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by Readington Township Police.
