Two teaching assistants at a Hackensack day care facility have been arrested and charged with child endangerment following an investigation into allegations involving two children.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Division of Child Protection & Permanency contacted the Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit on September 11, 2026, regarding allegations of physical abuse.
Authorities said the investigation determined that Deily Perez and Chillyann Spencer allegedly victimized two children at the facility on September 9.
🚨 Officials have not released specific details about what allegedly occurred and have not identified the day care where the incident took place.
Both women were initially remanded to jail and appeared in court before being released on Friday, pending further court proceedings.
