🚨🚔 TWO CHARGED AFTER JEEP ALLEGEDLY DRIVES THROUGH FAIRFIELD RECREATION COMPLEX 🚔🚨

The Fairfield Police Department has charged two individuals following an investigation into an alleged late-night incident at the Fairfield Recreation Complex on Hollywood Avenue. According to police, a social media post showed a Jeep Wrangler traveling across the grass and walking paths of the recreation facility between July 31st and August 1st, around midnight. Authorities said there appeared to be three people inside the vehicle. Using investigative technology, officers identified the vehicle as a 2005 silver Jeep Wrangler registered out of Roseland with an expired registration. Police identified the alleged driver as 19-year-old Griffin Beam of Lake Placid, NY, along with a 17-year-old Fairfield juvenile. A third occupant is still being sought. Beam and the juvenile were charged with defiant trespass and violating the local ordinance for being in the park after hours. Beam also faces motor vehicle complaints, including unregistered vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, and unsafe driving. The juvenile was charged through a delinquency complaint. Police say no damage was reported at the recreation facility but stated that misuse of public property will not be tolerated. Authorities are continuing efforts to identify the third individual involved. ⚖️ The charges are allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
