🚨 Two Arrested Following Alleged Assault at Fairfield Restaurant

FAIRFIELD, NJ — Two 22-year-old Little Falls residents are facing charges following an alleged physical altercation at the Franklin Steak House in Fairfield early Saturday morning, August 8, 2026.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the restaurant at approximately 1:15 a.m. after receiving a report of a group of people fighting.

Upon arrival, officers were reportedly told by witnesses that Tiana Raymond, 22, and Troy Tkach, 22, were allegedly involved in starting the altercation. Police said Tkach had reportedly fled the area on foot before officers arrived.

Officers subsequently located Tkach on the lawn of a neighboring business and took him into custody.

Police said several people were injured during the incident. According to investigators, Tkach allegedly repeatedly struck one individual in the face, resulting in extensive injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Following further investigation at the scene, both Tkach and Raymond were arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing.

Both individuals were charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault with another person. Raymond was additionally charged with criminal mischief after allegedly breaking one of the victim’s glasses.

Both were released on summonses and are scheduled to make a mandatory appearance in Essex County Superior Court on September 22, 2026.
