🚨💰 Two Arrested After Alleged Bank Impersonation Scam Targets NJ Woman

Authorities in Riverside Township are warning residents about a scam after two men were arrested for allegedly posing as bank security employees and attempting to collect thousands of dollars from a local woman. According to police, the victim reported losing $25,000 in cash after receiving a pop-up message on her computer claiming there was a virus. The victim was directed to call a phone number, where a man allegedly claimed to be part of the Wells Fargo security team and falsely told her she had caused a virus on the bank’s network. The victim was then instructed to withdraw cash and place it in a box at her home for “bank agents” to collect. After the first pickup, the suspect allegedly attempted to convince her to provide an additional $30,000. 🚔 Riverside Township Police detectives assisted the victim and coordinated a response that led to two men being arrested when they arrived to collect more money. MD N. Islam, 48, of Egg Harbor Township, and Mohammad Z.
