A 23-year-old Little Silver man suffered serious injuries Wednesday after he was thrown from his motorcycle on the Garden State Parkway. State Police say the man lost control and hit a guardrail while exiting the highway in Brick Township.
BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ ā A 23-year-old Little Silver man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after being thrown from his motorcycle during a crash on the Garden State Parkway, according to the New Jersey State Police.
Authorities said Thomas D. Spencer, 23, was traveling southbound on the Parkway shortly before 12:30 p.m. when he lost control while exiting at Exit 89B for Route 70 west.
The motorcycle struck the left guardrail, causing Spencer to be ejected from the motorcycle.
Spencer suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, State Police said.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
