🚨 LAKEWOOD POLICE CHARGE SUSPECT IN TWO SEPARATE BURGLARY INVESTIGATIONS 🚨

📍 LAKEWOOD, NJ — The Lakewood Police Department has charged 35-year-old Mashon Wilson of Pennsauken in connection with two separate burglary investigations that occurred in Lakewood during July.

🔎 CROSS STREET INVESTIGATION: On July 19, officers responded to a report of a suspicious individual inside a residence on Cross Street. Police say the suspect provided false identifying information and was later linked to multiple thefts within the building.

Wilson faces charges including burglary, defiant trespassing, hindering apprehension and seven counts of theft. Police also determined he had an active arrest warrant.

🏫 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE SCHOOL: A separate investigation began after police responded to a trespassing report at a school on Massachusetts Avenue. Investigators determined someone had unlawfully entered the building several days earlier and allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say investigators identified Wilson as the same individual involved in the Cross Street investigation, leading to additional burglary and theft charges.

👮 Lakewood Police Chief Gregory H. Meyer praised the officers for their thorough investigative work and for connecting the suspect to a previously unsolved case.
