🚨 HOLMDEL POLICE CHARGE TWO IN BURGLARY INVESTIGATION 🚨

📍 HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Police Department has charged 20-year-old Asaad Betts and a 17-year-old male, both from Neptune, in connection with a burglary investigation stemming from an incident in May.

🚔 Police say that around 4:10 a.m. on May 2, the two suspects approached the front door of a residence wearing dark clothing and masks but fled without attempting to enter.

🏠 They allegedly then went across the street and entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway. After an unsuccessful attempt to steal that vehicle, police say they smashed a window on another vehicle and entered it.

⚖️ Both individuals were charged with: • Burglary • Criminal Attempt – Motor Vehicle Theft • Criminal Mischief • Conspiracy
