🚨 HADDON HEIGHTS MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE CASE

Thursday, August 6, 2026

A Haddon Heights man has pleaded guilty to charges related to the sexual abuse of a 3-year-old child, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. Jason R. Anderson, 44, pleaded guilty to first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, first-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving the manufacturing of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), and Failure to Register as a Megan’s Law Offender. Officials say the investigation began in February 2025 after authorities were alerted to images and videos found on Anderson’s cellphone allegedly depicting the abuse of a 3-year-old female relative. Investigators say the material was also shared through a digital application. Under the terms of the plea agreement, Anderson is expected to receive an aggregate sentence of 35 years in New Jersey State Prison, including 25 years without parole on the aggravated sexual assault charge. He will also be subject to lifetime parole supervision and Megan’s Law registration requirements. Camden County officials said the plea helps hold the defendant accountable while sparing the child victim and family from the trauma of a public trial. ⚠️ All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
