CHERRY HILL, NJ ā August 18, 2026 ā An 18-year-old Florida man has been arrested following a reported shooting at an apartment complex in Cherry Hill, according to the Cherry Hill Police Department.
Police said officers responded around 3:45 a.m. Thursday to the Grand Apartments in the 1900 block of Frontage Road after receiving a report of shots fired in the parking lot.
According to authorities, a vehicle was seen leaving the area following the reported shooting.
The suspect was identified as Brian A. Bush, 18, of Sanford, Florida.
Bush was charged with:
š¹ Second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon š¹ Second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose š¹ Third-degree criminal mischief
Authorities said Bush fled the area and ultimately escaped across state lines into New York before being apprehended.
