🚨🌧️ FLASH FLOOD WARNING ISSUED FOR PARTS OF MONMOUTH & OCEAN COUNTIES 🌧️🚨

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of southeastern Monmouth County and northeastern Ocean County until 4:00 AM.

Heavy thunderstorms continue to move through the area, with 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain already reported and an additional 1 to 2 inches possible overnight. Flash flooding is either already occurring or expected to develop quickly.

⚠️ Communities impacted include: 📍 Toms River 📍 Lakewood 📍 Howell 📍 Long Branch 📍 Asbury Park 📍 Middletown 📍 Tinton Falls 📍 Holmdel 📍 Red Bank 📍 Keansburg 📍 Matawan 📍 Sandy Hook

🚗 Motorists should use extreme caution, especially along: • Garden State Parkway (Mile Markers 88–119) • Interstate 195 (Mile Markers 29–34)

🌊 Flooding of roadways, low-lying areas, creeks, and poor drainage locations is possible. Never drive through flooded roads—Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Conditions may be especially dangerous overnight when flooded areas are harder to see.
