A flash flood warning is in effect for Bergen, Essex, and Passaic counties until 6:30 a.m. Monday. Residents are urged to avoid travel and stay away from flooded roadways as heavy rain causes dangerous conditions across the region.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of Bergen, Essex, and Passaic counties. š In effect until 6:30 AM Monday Heavy rainfall is causing or is expected to cause flash flooding of roadways, low-lying areas, small streams, and locations with poor drainage. ā ļø If you live or are traveling in the warned area: š Turn Around, Don't Drown ā never drive through flooded roadways. š Move to higher ground if flooding develops. š± Continue to monitor weather alerts and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
