šš„ FIVE FIREFIGHTERS INJURED DURING UPPER FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP HOUSE FIRE š

Five firefighters with IAFF Local 3874 were injured Wednesday while battling a residential structure fire in Upper Freehold Township. Members from the Upper Freehold Township and Millstone Township shops, along with automatic aid companies, responded to the fire on July 29. During firefighting operations, three firefighters suffered heat-related injuries, while two others sustained burns. All five firefighters were transported for medical treatment. The two firefighters who suffered burns were taken to The Burn Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston for specialized care. IAFF Local 3874 says the injured members are doing well and resting, while fellow firefighters remain committed to maintaining uninterrupted fire protection for the communities they serve.
