Christie made the comments Tuesday, September 22, during a visit to New Hampshire, where he delivered the keynote address at the Granite State Summit on Responsible Gaming.
The 64-year-old Newark native and Livingston resident said he wants to see what happens in the 2026 midterm elections before deciding whether to pursue another presidential campaign. Christie said a decision could potentially come sometime in 2027.
Christie previously sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 and 2024. He served as New Jersey governor from 2010 through 2018.
