🚨 BRIDGETON POLICE ARREST JUVENILE, RECOVER LOADED GHOST GUN 🚨

📍 BRIDGETON, NJ — Members of the Bridgeton Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit recovered another illegal firearm during a recent investigation.

👮 While patrolling near Marion Street and North Pearl Street, detectives attempted to stop a juvenile who was wanted on an outstanding warrant connected to an earlier firearms investigation.

🏃 Police say the juvenile fled on foot, leading officers on a brief pursuit before he was taken into custody.

🔫 During the arrest, detectives allegedly recovered a loaded 9mm Glock 43 ghost gun from the juvenile’s waistband. Police said the firearm lacked a serial number on the lower frame.

⚖️ The juvenile now faces additional charges including obstruction, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun by a minor and possession of a ghost gun.

🚔 Bridgeton Police said the Street Crimes Unit will continue targeting illegal firearms and violent crime throughout the community.

⚠️ All individuals charged are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
