BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Berkeley Township is providing temporary parking for residents who need to move their vehicles to higher ground ahead of this weekend’s storm and potential flooding.
The Berkeley Township Office of Emergency Management announced that residents concerned about flooding can use the lower parking lot at Central Regional Middle School to relocate their vehicles.
The temporary storm parking became available at 3 p.m. Friday, September 25, giving residents an opportunity to move vehicles before worsening weather conditions arrive.
Officials say the parking is intended for Berkeley Township residents who live in areas that could potentially experience flooding during the storm.
🚗 Important: All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot by 7 a.m. Monday, September 28.
