🚨 ATLANTIC CITY LIFEGUARD ARRESTED IN CHILD LURING INVESTIGATION 🚔

An Egg Harbor Township man and longtime Atlantic City lifeguard has been arrested after authorities say he attempted to meet with someone he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sexual activity.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, Stephen M. Pagnoni, 38, was communicating online with an individual who was actually an undercover detective with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit.

Investigators say Pagnoni arranged to meet at a park in Cherry Hill in an attempt to engage in sexual conduct in exchange for money. After arriving at the location on July 28, he was taken into custody by the Cherry Hill Police Department Tactical Response Team and members of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Pagnoni faces multiple charges, including attempted child luring, attempted sexual assault of a minor, attempted manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, attempted endangering the welfare of a child, and related offenses.

Officials say Pagnoni had worked as a lifeguard with the Atlantic City Beach Patrol for approximately 20 years and has been suspended from his position.
