Three people suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon after a dump truck allegedly ran a red light and hit another vehicle in Marlboro Township. The crash closed a section of County Route 520 for over an hour while police investigated the scene.
MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ ā August 2026 ā Three people suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on County Route 520 in Marlboro Township, according to police.
Marlboro Township officers responded to the area of Route 520 between Wyncrest Road and Gordons Corner Road at approximately 3:28 p.m. for a reported motor vehicle crash.
According to Marlboro Police Captain Jonathan Gramcko, the collision occurred after a dump truck allegedly ran a red light on CR-520, resulting in a crash involving another vehicle.
š Three people sustained minor injuries and were transported to CentraState Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
š§ The roadway was closed at approximately 3:39 p.m. while emergency crews and police investigated the crash. Route 520 was reopened around 4:50 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
