🔥🚒 2ND-ALARM COMMERCIAL FIRE IN LITTLE SILVER KEEPS CREWS BUSY FOR HOURS
Firefighters from several departments spent hours battling a two-alarm fire at a commercial building in Little Silver early Sunday morning. Officials have not yet released information regarding the cause of the blaze or the extent of injuries and property damage.
LITTLE SILVER, NJ — Firefighters battled a stubborn 2nd-alarm commercial structure fire in Little Silver early Sunday morning, with crews operating at the scene for several hours.
The Little Silver Fire Department was dispatched shortly after 2:00 a.m. for a report of a well-involved fire at a commercial building. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a significant fire that required additional resources.
🚨 A 2nd alarm was struck, bringing mutual aid fire companies to the scene to assist Little Silver firefighters with firefighting operations.
Crews remained on scene well into the morning before finally bringing the stubborn blaze under control.
The fire department expressed its appreciation to the numerous agencies and departments that assisted during the response, including EMS personnel, Little Silver Police, mutual aid fire companies, the Red Bank Fire Marshal’s Office and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office.
