One person died and two others were injured Saturday afternoon following a head-on collision on Route 206 in Andover Township. Police report that a vehicle traveling north crossed into the opposite lane, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
š ANDOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ ā A wrong-way crash on Route 206 in Sussex County Saturday afternoon left one person dead and two others injured, according to local authorities.
š The collision occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. when police said one vehicle traveling northbound crossed into the opposing lane and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
š Two people were transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. A third person was taken to Newton Medical Center, where they were later pronounced dead.
The identity of the person who died has not been released pending notification of next of kin. Authorities have not yet disclosed which vehicle the victims were traveling in or identified who was driving.
